The Kentucky Open Government Coalition joins the Kentucky League of Women Voters in urging lawmakers to ensure "transparency and opportunities for public input" in their upcoming redistricting work and before district boundaries are adopted.

In testimony before the Interim Joint Committee on State Government on June 15, the League characterized redistricting as "a key step in building participatory government" and made specific recommendations for a redistricting plan that "can pass with bipartisan support."
