At the kind invitation of University of Kentucky Student Media Advisor Ryan Craig, Kentucky Open Government Coalition co-directors Jeremy Rogers, Scott Horn, and Amye Bensenhaver joined Ryan and a group of aspiring journalists at today's Kernel Staff Retreat.

The topic was the open records law and the recent changes to the law. Jeremy led a lively discussion — focusing on the past, present, and future of the law with lots of practical pointers thrown in — that might still be going on but for the constraints of time.

And there might have been a screen shot of the event but for my technological challenges.
